Position Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for collaborating with the multidisciplinary team as a direct care provider and clinical expert. The RN will develop and implement practice guidelines, and maintain the established standards of care and practice through staff development, clinical improvement activities and patient/staff education.

Manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the appropriate division. Nurses at Northside are professionals committed to patients/families and all members of the Healthcare team. Our nursing practice reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Position Requirements
Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Active Georgia Registered Nurse licensure. Three(3) years experience in clinical area. Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Preferred: National certification in specialty area. Cancer Center (Radiation Oncology ACLS certification and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).

License/Certification Requirements: Yes

Work Hours: 8a-4:30p

Weekend Requirements: No

On-Call Requirements: No
