Westside Garden Plaza in Indianapolis, IN

Full-time and part-time positions available for various shifts. (EOE/M/F/V/D)

Join our team at Westside Garden Plaza! We are a high-end assisted living community for seniors.


  • Must be graduate of state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant or Medication Aide program
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Experience in as a nursing assistant or medication aide preferred
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications


  • Must enjoy serving seniors
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality
  • Must demonstrate trustworthiness and dependability (critical as duties involve access to narcotics and other drugs)
  • Must work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision
  • Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be patient and compassionate with residents and families
  • Must multitask efficiently


  • Works in office and throughout community
  • Subject to frequent interruptions
  • Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and in other positions temporarily as necessary
  • Subject to falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the working day
  • Subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents and families
  • Possible exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including exposure to AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses


  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Must practice regular and predictable attendance
  • Must follow company policies including harassment, code of ethics, complaint procedures, safety, sanitation, confidentiality, dress code and resident rights
  • Must knock before entering a residents apartment
  • Must assist with evacuation of residents and supports residents in times of crisis (i.e., natural disaster)
  • Must deliver quality resident care services to residents
  • Must deliver accurate, timely medication assistance services to residents
  • Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
  • Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move intermittently during working hours
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs floor to waist, lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 40 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs
