RN Med Surg Nurse renders professional nursing care in accordance with physician's treatment plans and standards of evidence based practice/care. In doing so, RNs assesses patient's condition, plans patient care, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, provides appropriate patient education, and evaluates patient's progress, records pertinent observations and report responses to drugs and treatments. Assists with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment. The RN Med Surg advocates for patient in order to achieve the best possible outcome.

Home Health RN : Registered Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Nursing Supervisor. The Home Health RN prepares clinical progress notes on each patient, counsels patients and family in meeting nursing and related needs, refers to physical therapists, speech pathlogists, occupational therapist and medical social worker patients needed specialized care.

RN Dialysis Nurses care for people who are sick, injured, convalescent or disabled. Under general supervision, they deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with established philosophy. RNs collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Dialysis Nurses provide care and support for patients suffering from acute and chronic renal (kidney) failure. They assist pre- and during dialysis procedures, following physician orders.

RN PACU: The PACU Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. As a member of the Surgical and Post-Surgical team, the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff and other personnel to provide care in the PACU according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling cases, censuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, recovery of surgical patients and transportation of patient to next appropriate level of care.

RN/LPNs Wound Care: RN performing wound care in hospital under guidance of Wound Care Physicians. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting. Nurses communicate with physicians/director/charge nurse/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Nurses are able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. RN/LPNs provide education to patients on preventive measures and optimizing wound healing; and implements plans to prevent pressure ulcers and other wound developments.

RN Heart and Vascular Nurses deliver professional nursing care to patient populations in the Heart and Vascular Department which include but are not limited to general cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, stroke and other complex disease states with cardiac and vascular co-morbidities. Cardiovascular nurses perform assessments, follow standards of care and disease specific protocols utilizing the Nursing Process in delivery of care. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions. RN/LPNs are responsible for delivery of professional nursing care for assigned patients, performs nursing assessments / care plan implementation / implementation of treatment / evaluation of treatment / and discharge planning. Nurses coordinates care with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary services. Responsible for delegation within scope of practice to provide safe and effective care to patient population.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must have a GA nursing license RN

  • 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience

  • BLS and/or ACLS required

  • Experience working in a hospital or private physician office
