Job Description

Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center has immediate openings for experienced and newly graduated RN/LPN Charge Nurses. The Charge Nurse supervises Certified Nursing Assistants and provide direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures. This position assists in the development/implementation of patient care plans, identifies patient goals/approaches, resolves patient/family concerns and summarizes concerns for Unit Manager.

Qualifications include:

Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.
Ability to manage CNA per shift
Ability to prioritize and provide patient careAbility to adapt to change.
Ability to multi-task

We currently have a positions available on all shifts, every other weekend is required. Licensed nurses will obtain and maintain current CPR status.
