Position Summary

Performs clinical and operational audits as a means of verifying accuracy of information and compliance to established policies, practices and regulations. Coordinates annual review of charge description master with operational management and maintains the cost information line. Responsible for coordinating monthly quality review meetings of the care process (from physician order, registration, health services, chart documentation, and billing to reimbursement) with operational representatives and serving as the gatekeeper to refer clinical audits to third party contractor. Responsible for coordinating billing office error reports and seeking resolution with operational management.


Minimum Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required Bachelors Degree/BSN preferred


Minimum Experience Requirements

5 years in direct patient care in a hospital setting RN highly preferred; technical skills and weight and breadth of medical experience may substitute



RN or other Healthcare related License/Certification


Physical Requirements
