The Medical Assistant II - Urgent Care assists physicians with patient examination, procedures and treatment. Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab. Follows up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, inventories clinical and drug supplies. May obtain clinical, financial and demographic information. Create and maintain patient charts. File charts and reports. Performs other duties as assigned.

The business hours for BayCare Urgent Care offices are 8:00
AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and Noon to 6:00 PM on Sunday. The Work Schedule for this position is a
twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and Noon to
6:00 PM on Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with a Two Days On, then
Two Days off Rotation. This will include
every other weekend.
