Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice Facility Per Diem

We are seeking per diem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team! CommandCare has opportunities for day or night shifts from 4 to 12 hours, providing care to patients within residential hospice facilities.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a member of a health care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient needs.

  • Provide basic patient care
  • Check patient vitals and update information in patient chart
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist nurses and other staff as needed
  • Observe patients for safety
  • Offer comfort and emotional support to patients and their family members


  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Previous experience in hospice preferred
  • Familiarity with medical documentation and equipment
  • Ability to offer compassion to patients and families
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
