Join Catherine Lord, Ph.D., an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the clinical team at NewYork Presbyterian's Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB). Situated on the 200+ acre campus of NYP/Westchester Division, CADB transforms the way patients with ASD and their families access therapeutic services, offering comprehensive healthcare to children and adults including providing Early Intervention (EI), Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Thrive in this hands-on role, working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a key member of the EI Multidisciplinary Team deliver administrative coordination of the CADB Early Intervention Program and the related ongoing service functions. Create an engaging atmosphere in a classroom setting with children 3 years old and younger. Integrate classroom time with the Occupational and Speech Therapists. Provide coaching for the parents both at CADB and in their homes. Work with patients/families and staff members to implement services while coordinating care plans. Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, and identify and address opportunities for improvement.

This position works primarily Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday availability required.

Preferred Criteria

    Experience working with patients on the Autism Spectrum Experience in early intervention program Experience using the Early Start Denver model (ESDM) NYS Certified Special Education Teacher Master Degree

Required Criteria

    A minimum of 1 year of Early Childhood Autism experience Ability to conduct initial evaluations and psychosocial assessments and to establish individualized and measurable treatment goals Classroom Training Certification Bachelor degree
