Psychiatry Case Manager - Pediatrics - Full-time

At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, our Mental Health professionals unites the most respected minds in research, education and care. Our diverse upper Manhattan campus is home to over 400 faculty members, among them two recent Nobel Prize Laureates (2000 and 2004) for their work in neuroscience. We are home to the nation's first Anxiety Disorders Clinic, and other historic achievements in behavioral health. It's a proud tradition - and a premier opportunity.

The program has developed an intensive, family-based approach to treatment, which will be a significant part of this role, along with collaboration with social workers, psychologists, and the entire care team. In this key role, you will work with patients and their families as a faciliator of inservices and engagement. Help facilitate group therapy and psychosocial interventions and be a person that patients can rely on and relate to.

Candidates must be able to work two shifts from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm per week.

Preferred Criteria

  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Training in child development/psychology
  • Post graduate education in social work or psychology
Required Criteria

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent from a recognized college or university
