Hours: Monday Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM OR 8:00AM-4:00PM No weekends or on call.

The Role You Will Play

As an RN , Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology and disease process to identify and extract pertinent health info from prospective policy holders medical charts.

Compile that information into an abstract that summarizes the individuals health history.

Communicate with the underwriters on the team so that they can determine the individuals overall health and life expectancy.

Ideal Background

Active Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia

2 years minimum of nursing experience in any of the following settings: Medical Surgical, Adult ICU, Emergency Room, PACU, Telemetry , Utilization Review.

Ideal if you are someone with the above experience and are looking to switch gears away from bedside while still using your nursing knowledge in a more relaxed office environment.

Strong Computer Skills.

Must be able to work in the office in Kennesaw.

Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and Disease Process.
