This RN Supervisor will be responsible for the supervisions of LPN in a detoxification program and short term rehabilitation facility. The RN supervisor will ensure that all initial nursing assessment on all detox and rehab clients are completed. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating with the facility physician and psychiatrist to complete the initial physical exam and initial mental health evaluation. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for training all LPN and providing supervisions for all services required including but not limited to administration and recording of all medication, funding reviews, coordination of aftercare appointments for all detox clients, including referrals for IOP services, as well as, medical, dental, and vision exam appointments as deemed appropriate. The RN supervisor will perform quality improvement audits on all medical charting.
Work is performed with considerable independence in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures in a coordinated effort with the Medical Consultant and/or the Director of Nursing, and/or Program Director. This individual is responsible to the Director(s) for overall program effectiveness and the achievement of program objectives.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current RN license in good standing in Commonwealth of PA
- Five (5) years supervised nursing experience, with two (2) year in addictions, mental health, or related specialty
- Sobriety: If recovering, Two (2) years sobriety
