Nemours is seeking an Employee Health Supervisor (RN), Part Time, Monday-Friday, Varied Days/Hours , to join our Nemours Children's Hospital (NCH) team in Orlando, Florida.

This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of corporate Employee Health Services. Provide daily operational administration and supervision of departmental staff. While functioning in accordance with objectives and established protocols and under direction of the Health and Wellness Director and Employee Health Medical Director, serves as a Registered Nurse in the Employee Health Department. Utilizing the nursing process, is responsible for ensuring provision of an employee health services system that optimizes the health and safety of the workforce. This position reports to the Health and Wellness Director for administrative management and Medical Director for medical direction.
  • Establish departmental scheduling and ensure coverage.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, including ongoing use of the performance management system for providing feedback and ensuring staff development and ongoing training.
  • Monitor budgetary performance and assist in budgetary development.
  • In partnership with the Employee Health Medical Director, provide guidance on the most complex departmental issues.
  • Represent departmental concerns in designated meetings and participate in committees as a representative of Employee Health and Wellness.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory/internal procedures, including recommendations of policy/procedural modifications.
  • Advance initiatives regarding employee health/wellness, which include coordination and presenting as needed.
  • Ability to maintain and administer confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner.

Requirements
  • BSN required; Advanced Practice Nurse credential preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida required; Florida and Delaware licensure preferred.
  • Three (3)-plus years of occupational health work experience required.
  • Occupational health management experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Good project management and time management skills required.
  • Ability to appropriately evaluate, treat and triage employees with injuries/illnesses required.
  • Demonstrated ability for program administration and development required.
