RN Cath Lab

The Catherization Lab RN assists physicians in the analysis and treatment of cardiac problems. Catheterization lab nurses are responsible for preparing the patient for their examinations, and give emotional and physical support to the patient.ResponsibilitiesAs a Catheterization Lab Nurse your duties include: Monitoring the patient’s vitals before, during and after their procedure. Dispensing and logging medication. Providing treatment when needed. Assisting the doctors perform several procedures such as angioplasties and stent placements. RequirementsOne year of experience as a Cath Lab RN within the past two years. Current RN License in good standing. Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association. Must pass pre-employment drug screen. Job Type
