The Orthopedic Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of patients that are suffering from musculoskeletal disorders. It is a must for Orthopedic Nurses to be compassionate for the patient's they are working with and ensure the patient is receiving the best health care plan possible.ResponsibilitiesAs a Orthopedic Registered Nurse your duties include:
Helping the patient in their recovery process by providing standard mobility and strength practices.
Teaching patients and their family members on musculoskeletal diseases and how to cope with them.
Helping the physicians while performing medical procedures if necessary.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Orthopedic RN within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
