High-risk Pregnancy Care — From before conception through birth, Ascension provides expert high-risk pregnancy care, and peace of mind for expectant moms.Intensive Care for Newborns — Ascension’s neonatal services provide advanced intensive care for premature babies and other newborns who need special attention. Maternal Fetal Medicine — Ascension’s maternal-fetal medicine doctors are also OB-GYN doctors and specialize in complications of pregnancy. Postpartum care— With options from nursing resources to care kits, Ascension provides a postpartum care plan designed to support you from the moment you give birth.Our network of doctors, nurses and specialists take the time to understand the care you need, including special care. Then we create a maternity experience that is right for you and her, or him or both. This position requires that the manager be available M-F, 8-5 but does include availability as necessary to provide leadership to the team, support the operation and be on call as needed. Requirements: RN Manager experience, 1 + years. 3 yrs., of L&D experience highly preferred. What You Will Do: Manage activities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required.
- 3 years of experience required.
- 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
