HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, located in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Trauma ICU (NTICU) to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. This work shift is Full-time Days and rotating weekends. What you will do in this role You will be responsible for providing safe and appropriate nursing care within HCA’s mission and values statements, the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and carrying out physician’s orders. HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center. You will be demonstrating your advanced nursing knowledge, skills, and abilities in this 12-bed unit Neuro Trauma ICU. You will be using wall-mounted computers in the patient’s private room for your documentation, and collaborating with our team of patient care technicians and supporting clinical staff to provide the best patient care experience and outcomes. Qualifications you will need for this role Licensure: Current Florida Registered Nurse license is required or appropriate compact licensure. Certifications: Current BLS certification and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification are required. ACLS certification and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are required. New employees must obtain within six (6) months of their start date. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Certified Neuro Science Registered Nurse (CNSRN) are preferred. Education: Nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting is preferred. Neuro ICU experience and critical care experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Our generous benefits package At HCA, you have options.
