    As a Bed Management Coordinator, you serve as a primary representative for hospital administration, the Bed Management Coordinator uses clinical expertise and management skills to direct implementation of administrative throughput plans into efficient quality patient care.

         
    • You must coordinate the assignment of patient care beds within the hospital using diagnosis and service line cohorting guidelines so that patient care is not delayed

    • You will identify, trend, report, and recommend strategies to resolve barriers to patient throughput to the Director of Clinical Operations

    • You will coordinate all bed placement and throughput activities

    • You will coordinate staffing (in collaboration with patient care managers and the staffing manager) of the hospital

    • You must manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

    • You must conduct crucial conversations in confident manner

    Qualifications

     

  • A graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required - Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • An active State of Georgia or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) License is required
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider or American Red Cross is required
  • Minimum of three years recent nursing practice
  • At least one year of management/charge or leadership related experience
