Description

Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Nurse Educator for Cardiology to plan, supervise, implement and evaluate nursing education systems, programs, projects and policies that promote and support the accomplishment of our organizational goals. In this role, you will participate in skills validation components of orientation classes for newly hired RNs; assist in planning and implementing in-services and educational programs; and serve as a nursing education liaison to the Critical Care/Cardiology division.  


Requirements


Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or specific healthcare field
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
NYS RN license
Demonstrated competence and progressive experience in Cardiology nursing and nursing education
Maintained status as an AHA BLS instructor
Education and Management/Administration Supervisory experience
