Internal Medicine- Per Diem (8-12 hours per week)

As a key member of our Division of General Internal Medicine at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, you will play an integral role in administering a behavioral intervention to study participants that includes psycho-education, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Working under the direction of the principal investigator in the conduct of an NIH funded research study, you will investigate the treatment of hepatitis C in patients with both HIV and hepatitis C infections as well as interact with research participants.

Responsibilities will include:

•    Undergoing training to learn intervention techniques and protocol
•    Administrating behavioral intervention to research subjects
•    Documenting study interventions and subject ratings
•    Providing ongoing supervision
•    Handling a variety of other related tasks as needed

To qualify, you must have a current NYS RN License, BSN and prior experience in HIV, Hepatitis C and/or Psychiatry.  Bilingual in English and Spanish also required.
