Full Time (M-F) Day Schedule
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC)
The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) includes a full-service hospital with 318 patient beds. It serves as the region’s healthcare hub, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts of Montana. EIRMC is home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (of only two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. Our ER is the most experienced in the region. The hospital's other specialty services include the region's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit capable of caring for babies born as early as 22 weeks gestation; the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Unit, the largest heart program in the region, a Behavioral Health Center which is a74-bed Joint Commission accredited psychiatric hospital and the region’s only Primary Stroke Center.

*Responsible for the process improvement portion of the trauma program.
*Requires attention to detail to ensure that all concerns/issues with performance improvement are identified and closed.
*Responsible for ensuring that adequate data is gathered related to any process improvement process.
*Supports the vision of the trauma program and ensures EIRMC maintains Level 2 Trauma Verification by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.

*Current Idaho licensure as a Registered Nurse or can start with Compact “multi-state” RN License.
*Clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or flight nursing required.
*Previous experience working in a trauma program preferred. Must know how to enter information into and extract reports from trauma database.
*Must maintain continuing education requirements as set forth by the American College of Surgeons for a Trauma Registrar and Trauma Quality Improvement Program participant.
*Continuing education with focus of obtaining TCRN (Trauma Care Registered Nurse) preferred.
*On-going trauma database training required.
*Must be able to demonstrate competency with Microsoft office products (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, and publisher).
*Position has frequent interaction with in-house and outlying area physicians, nursing staff, EMS agencies, other departments and media representatives. Therefore must have the sensitivity, maturity and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
*Must maintain hospital mandatory education and training for nursing.
*AHA or ARC CPR for Healthcare Providers certification and TNCC are required.
*Will follow hospital dress code and present a professional image at all times.
