Bed Coordinator, RN

Position Responsibilities: Facilitates processes on a daily basis to expedite patient’s movement within the organization.  Coordinates, prioritizes and optimizes patient flow activities. Coordinates bed availability proactively through the incorporation of daily bed briefing meetings, the use of bed board information and daily rounds to gather real-time census information to expedite admissions and discharges.

Position Requirements: Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse Program, NYS Registered Nurse License, BLS issued by AHA required. Must have a minumum of 3 years hospital (medical/surgical) expereince. Previous Bed Board Faciliation expereience preferred.

This position reports to the Director of Patient Logistics.
