Position Requirements
Required:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. (See Knowledge Base, Section D, Professional Attributes.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.
- Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Surgical Services Operating Room: Prior Operating Room experience or completion of a course in Operating Room nursing.
- PACU: Prior PACU or ICU experience or completion of a course in Post-Anesthesia Care nursing.
- National certification in specialty area.
