  Registered Nurse (RN)  - Burn Clinic

PRN    Our Burn & Reconstructive Center provides high-level, comprehensive burn treatment, repair and reconstruction surgery, critical care along with outpatient services to burn patients. As a Registered Nurse in our 4-room Outpatient Burn Clinic, you can expect to provide healing through wound care and infection prevention to include Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBO) therapy.   Our Operating rooms are equipped with telemedicine technology that enables surgeons and staff members to instantly communicate by video with top burn-care experts across the nation.  The center will not only offer acute burn care but also reconstructive care – something not all burn centers offer in-house.

Qualifications

What you need to be successful:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with Burn Patients is preferred for this position
• HBO (Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber) experience preferred
• Wound Care experience acceptable
• Minimum one year hospital Nursing experience required
