The Cardiovascular Director position is to include but is not limited to oversight of the Cardiovascular Service Line through subordinate managers. These departments include the Cardiac Cath Lab, Echo lab, Pre/Post op unit and Cardiovascular Surgery Program. Must work collaboratively with Surgery, ICU, and ED. Assisting the CNO in the clinical and administrative functions on cardiovascular related assigned unit (s), outpatient or specialized areas on a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week basis. This position has significant responsibility for formulating and administering policies and programs, manages significant human, financial and physical resources and functions with a high degree of autonomy. Oversees through subordinate managers the accountability and stewardship of service line resources and the development of systems and procedures to protect service line and organizational assets. Demonstrates strategic planning and effective leadership skills of delegation and organization. The Director will work to ensure high quality of care and patient experience for cardiovascular patients, families, and physicians. Always supporting the Mission, Vision and Values of Dameron Hospital. This position will be involved with the CNO and Dameron Leadership when determining strategies for Cardiovascular programs with organization-wide impact. Must also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and regulatory processes and procedures. Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a non-union position. See Essential Job Functions. Salary Range: $132,384-$198,577 annually.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Requires California Registered Nurse licensure.
Bachelor’s Degree Master’s Degree in Health Care or Related Field preferred
Experience:
Two years in a Cardiovascular field related leadership position,
Minimum of five years clinical experience in acute care facility in specified unit or department.
Licenses/ certifications:
Current California Registered Nurse License Current BLS Certification through AHA
Current ACLS Certification.
