Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 2
This series builds upon the Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 1 course to provide additional competency and proficiency in Medical Spanish.

Participants should have either completed the Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 1 or have a background of basic Spanish grammar. Subjunctive, command, and preterite grammar forms will be introduced. This course offers guidance and practice with medical scenarios for RNs, APRNs, dietitians, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.
This blended learning experience combines live webinars with online self-study to provide you with the freedom to fit your education in your schedule. Complete the series to earn 12.5 contact hours/12.5 CPEUs.

Tracey Long, PhD, MS, RN, CDE, CNE, CHUC, CCRN, COI grew up in sunny California and later braved the cold in Provo, Utah where she earned two degrees at Brigham Young University in nursing and Spanish. In college, she traveled with the speech and debate team, studied abroad in Europe, and then toured the Orient with the National Ballroom Dance Champion Team. Tracey served one and one-half years as a health welfare missionary to Colombia. She developed Spanish programs in health education and diabetes for local hospitals in Las Vegas, Nevada where she now resides. She earned her masters degree in public health education at the California College of Health Sciences. She earned her PhD at UNLV in nursing/health education. She is currently the Director of Clinical Education at at HealthCare Partners and adjunct faculty at Nevada State College. To keep her sense of humor she has taught home preschool for 13 years.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Phone cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Cancellations received four weeks prior to the start date of the series will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received after four weeks and up to seven days prior to the start of the series will be assessed a $50 processing fee. Cancellations received seven days prior or “no shows” will not receive a refund. In the event that the program is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
