Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 2
This series builds upon the Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 1 course to provide additional competency and proficiency in Medical Spanish.

Participants should have either completed the Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 1 or have a background of basic Spanish grammar. Subjunctive, command, and preterite grammar forms will be introduced. This course offers guidance and practice with medical scenarios for RNs, APRNs, dietitians, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.
This blended learning experience combines live webinars with online self-study to provide you with the freedom to fit your education in your schedule. Complete the series to earn 12.5 contact hours/12.5 CPEUs.

Stephanie Betancur, BSN, RN is currently a primary care registered nurse at UNC-CH Campus Health Services and is a 3rd-year doctoral student and research assistant in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was an inpatient registered nurse at UNC Health. Stephanie earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Cultures from Appalachian State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of the 6th cohort of Hillman Scholars. Stephanie has significant experience educating Spanish-speaking patients during inpatient care and discharge from the hospital setting. Her native language is Spanish as she was born in Medillin, Columbia. She moved to North Carolina as the age of 12.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Phone cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Cancellations received four weeks prior to the start date of the series will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received after four weeks and up to seven days prior to the start of the series will be assessed a $50 processing fee. Cancellations received seven days prior or “no shows” will not receive a refund. In the event that the program is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
