Goal and Learning Outcomes

The goal of this program is to inform nurses and physicians about psoriasis: its causes, symptoms, treatments and measures to control it. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:
  • Discuss the pathophysiology, types, and common signs and symptoms of psoriasis
  • Describe treatment modalities and self-directed control measures
  • Identify methods for obtaining support for the physical and emotional aspects of the condition
