Overview

Breaking diagnostic odyssey and improving care of patients with Rett syndrome are critical. The discussion in this course follows the progression path of Rett syndrome. How to accelerate diagnosis in each disease stage will be addressed. How to integrate the approved therapy into clinical practice and improve treatment adherence will be reviewed.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify signs of Rett syndrome and age of the patients in each stage along the path of disease progression.
  • Formulate strategies to expedite the diagnosis of Rett syndrome in patients at the early stages of the disease.
  • Develop plans to integrate approved therapy into clinical practice and improve treatment adherence.
