Partnership expands your nurse learning opportunities

Nurse.com by OnCourse Learning and Health & Safety Institute are combining efforts to ensure nurses have access to more resources to enhance their careers, education and workplace experiences.

The recent partnership will make a variety of advanced Health & Safety Institute courses and workplace safety programs available to you. The Health & Safety Institute’s emergency responder market also will have access to OnCourse Learning’s exclusive EMS training content for added nurse learning opportunities.

“This is a partnership that can enhance public safety and assist lifelong learners in the pursuit of knowledge and new skills,” said Patrick Sheahan, president and CEO of OnCourse Learning. “Teaming up with Health & Safety Institute opens new doors of educational opportunity to the professionals we serve every day. In turn, we can share our world-class training content with Health & Safety Institute’s audience.”

The Health & Safety Institute was founded in 1977 with the goal of making workplaces safer, according to the institute’s website. The institute has locations in Eugene, Ore.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Vancouver, Wash.; and Minneapolis, and includes seven brands offering complete emergency care training, continuing education, safety training and chemical compliance solutions, according to the website.

Our partnership with the Health & Safety Institute will deliver more expanded educational and workplace safety nurse learning opportunities in the following topics:

“Our complementary visions of delivering learning experiences that achieve better outcomes and making the workplace and community safer create a natural fit,” said Chad Birckelbaw, CEO of the Health & Safety Institute. “We look forward to introducing new solutions that will add value and expand our capabilities for customers of both organizations going forward. The HSI team is very excited about our partnership with OnCourse Learning.”
