Medication administration

The article “Modernized Code of Ethics addresses tough questions” is interesting, especially regarding starting IVs for an inmate for the purpose of lethal injection. While I’m neutral regarding abortion and usually lean toward pro-choice, will this affect nurses starting an IV for or giving oral medication for abortion since “nurses cannot administer medication that will end a life,” according to the article? This will make for an interesting discussion.
