Medical Center of Trinity appoints RN manager of ED


Michael R. Eldert, RN

Medical Center of Trinity appointed Michael R. Eldert, BSN, BS, RN, CEN, CHEC, EMT-B as ED manager of its soon-to-open Citrus Park ED in Tampa. Eldert’s entire career since 2004 has been in emergency medicine, according to a news release.

Eldert comes from Norfolk, Va., where he served as project manager/hospital emergency management coordinator for Sentara Healthcare, according to the release. While there, he also served as an EMT for the Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services at the Davis Corner Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Station 2, in Virginia Beach. At the same time, he was a trainer for the Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services and the Tidewater Chapter of the Emergency Nurses Association.

The Citrus Park ED will offer access to emergency care 24 hours a day in the north Tampa area, with on-site CT scan, ultrasound, X-ray and laboratory services.
