Carroll Hospital nurse receives May DAISY award

Lindsay Goldstein, RN, received the May DAISY Award at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Md. A nurse at the hospital for seven years, Goldstein received the award for her compassionate care of a patient’s family member during his time of need, according to a news release.

“Compassion is such an important part of the nursing experience and Lindsay has proven that time and time again,” Stephanie Reid, BSN, MHA, MBA, RN, vice president of quality and CNO at Carroll Hospital, said in the release. “The care she provides her patients is a perfect example of what top quality nursing should look like.”

Carroll Hospital’s DAISY Award was created to honor outstanding healthcare professionals at the hospital. It is given to an RN or LPN each month to recognize their extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
