The Delaware Organization of Nurse Leaders signed a chapter affiliation agreement with the American Organization of Nurse Executives on March 2. The affiliation agreement strengthens the relationship between the DONL and the national organization of nurse leaders, according to a news release.
DONL’s affiliation with the AONE will enable the organization to obtain educational and policy resources to strengthen nursing leadership across the state.
The AONE is a national organization committed to excellence in nursing leadership and patient care delivery, and is at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions to enhance the delivery of patient care, according to the release.
The DONL was founded in the late 1980s. Its purpose is to strengthen nursing leadership and to facilitate networking of current and future nursing leaders working in Delaware.
