Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, N.J., has received a 2015 Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics.

This evidence-based designation identifies the country’s best healthcare institutions based on criteria that consider female patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and what women say they want from a hospital, according to a news release.

The list of more than 350 award winners represents hospitals that women can feel confident in choosing for their maternity needs, according to the release.

“From prenatal care and education, to labor and delivery, and even after you bring your baby home, our Magnet–recognized nurses and experienced board-certified physicians are here to help new mothers every step of the way,” Ardath Youngblood, MSN, RN, director of the Maternity and Newborn Care Center, said in the release.

Hunterdon recently renovated the Maternity and Newborn Care Center, which features 20 private rooms, according to the release.
