The board of trustees of the Nursing Economic$ Foundation will award up to four $5,000 scholarships to registered nurses in masters or doctoral nursing programs who submit applications before May 15.
The board supports graduate-level nursing education, with an emphasis on administration or management, with these annual scholarships. Applications will be reviewed after the May 15 deadline, and winners will be notified by Aug. 1.
Requirements include that a candidate:
~ Must be matriculated or matriculating into an accredited, degree-granting, masters or doctoral nursing program with an emphasis on administration or management for the 2015-2016 school year at a school of nursing in the U.S.
~ Must plan to continue in the field of nursing with a career interest in nursing administration, management, leadership or education upon completion of degree program.
~ Must be an RN and a U.S. citizen.
~ Agrees that any scholarship awards will be used to defer the cost of tuition and other school-related fees (excluding: room, board, social, health insurance or athletic fees) in the degree-granting program.
