Carroll Hospital Center announces January DAISY Award winner

Pam Brambeck, RN, received the January DAISY Award at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md. A nurse at the hospital for about 25 years, Brambeck was honored for her compassionate care and interest in a young patient’s well-being, according to a news release.

“Pam is a perfect example of a caregiver who is consistently willing to go above and beyond to help put a patient’s mind at ease,” Stephanie Reid, BSN, MBA, MHA, RN, vice president of quality and CNO at Carroll Hospital Center, said in the release. “She genuinely cares about her patients, and I am so proud to have her as a member of our nursing team.”

Carroll Hospital Center’s DAISY Award was created to honor outstanding healthcare professionals at the hospital. It is given to an RN or LPN each month to recognize their extraordinary patient care, according to the release.
