How can an LPN who completed her RN schooling more than 15 years ago pass the NCLEX?

Dear Donna,

How can an LPN who completed her RN schooling more than 15 years ago pass the NCLEX?

Needs to Pass NCLEX

Dear Donna replies:

Dear Needs to Pass NCLEX,

I am presuming from your note you graduated from your RN program 15 years ago. Clearly a lot has changed since then including the NCLEX-RN exam itself. I would recommend you contact an NCLEX review program offering live courses and see what they suggest. You will at least need to take a review course and possibly get some tutoring. The review company will give you some sample tests to assess how well you might do on the actual exam and how much remediation you need.

To find these companies in your area, do an internet search for “NCLEX + RN review courses in
[your state].”

Best wishes,
Donna
