The Cedar Crest College MSN program at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in West Reading, Pa., graduated nine students in its inaugural cohort. Members of the inaugural cohort were Elizabeth Adams, Jessica Florkowski, Sharon Gambler, Cynthia Kaszmetskie, Lori Kunkle, Jennifer Larkin, Diane Luchetta, Michelle Trupp and Ronda Wounderly, according to a news release.
All students in this cohort were in the nurse administrator track.
The students education culminated with an evidence-based practice night on Aug. 5 at the medical center where each presented an evidence-based practice project. The event was attended by colleagues, peers, family members and the public, according to the release.
Nursing faculty from Cedar Crest College provided on-site courses for the cohort who completed the program in two years. Cedar Crest College offers classes for an MSN degree with a focus in nursing administration or nursing education in Reading as well as in Allentown, Pa.
