University of St. Francis appoints associate dean of graduate nursing

Lola Prince, RN, PhD, APN, FNP-BC, of Naperville, has been named associate dean for graduate nursing programs to the Cecily & John Leach College of Nursing at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, according to a news release.

Prince, who has worked as a nursing professor at USF since 2011, holds a PhD in nursing from Loyola University in Chicago; a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from DePaul University in Chicago; and a BSN from Arizona State University in Phoenix.

Prince will oversee USF’s master’s degrees for family nurse practitioners, nurse administrators, nurse educators and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners to prepare students to function at higher levels as APNs, nursing leaders and nurse educators, according to the release.
