Einstein Healthcare Network appoints new associate chief nurse

Jill Stunkard, RN, MSN, has been appointed associate chief nurse for Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia. During her 30-year tenure at Einstein, Stunkard has demonstrated effective leadership abilities in both clinical and administrative nursing roles for the network, according to a news release.

A strong advocate for and participant in nursing shared governance and a leader of Einstein’s RN Excellence Program, Stunkard has provided ongoing support and guidance to nursing department colleagues and staff, resulting in increased professional growth among nurses in clinical practice, education and leadership. Most recently, Stunkard served as Einstein’s interim chief nurse executive, according to the release.

Stunkard earned a BSN from Marquette University in Milwaukee, an MSN from Widener University in Chester, Pa., and a post-master’s certificate in nursing administration from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa.
