Pennsylvania State Nurses Association announces director of professional development

The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association announced that Aislynn Moyer, RN, MSN, has been named director of professional development. Moyer will oversee the management of continuing education and program development.

A faculty member of the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in Lancaster, Pa., her extensive background also includes roles as an acute care staff nurse, clinical head nurse and hospice nurse. Moyer is an accomplished author and has been published in various publications.

“PSNA is excited to welcome Aislynn as the director of professional development,” PSNA CEO Betsy M. Snook, RN, MEd, BSN, said in a news release. “Her professional accomplishments in instruction and nursing will be valuable as she brings high-quality educational resources to nurses in the Commonwealth.”

Moyer will earn a DNP from Capella University in June 2014. She earned a MSN from the University of Phoenix and a BSN from Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, Pa., in 2002.
