Catalina Post-Acute Care & Rehabilitation, a 102-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Tucson, Ariz., has undergone major renovations and upgrades, according to a

Enhancement details
In order to care for patients with more complex diagnoses, the care facility enhancements included expanded and enhanced therapy gym and rehab programs, additional in-wall oxygen and suction and major electrical upgrades. A cosmetic overhaul also was part of the renovations. Along with both inpatient and outpatient physical and occupational therapy programs, the facility specializes in hip and knee rehabilitation, wound care and now offers respiratory and ventilator care.
The renovation and program expansions serve a significant and growing community need as the facilitys local hospital partners have been entrusting increasingly complex patients and diagnoses to the skilled care team at Catalina, according to the release.
