Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing student receives Joan Bennett Tease Scholarship

The first Joan Bennett Tease Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 was awarded to Chloe Charlsen, a first-year student at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del.

Charlsen graduated from Sussex Technical High School.

The scholarship was established in memory of Joan Bennett Tease by her son, Jeffrey J. Tease. Joan Bennett Tease was a 1951 graduate of the Lankenau School of Nursing in Wynnwood, Pa. Her primary area of interest was maternity and neonatal nursing.

“We are most appreciative that Jeff Tease remembered his mother with this scholarship to benefit our student,” Connie Bushey, RN, MSN, MEd, director of the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing, said in a news release.
