I worked as a school nurse for four days and quit because I did not feel comfortable working there. For multiple reasons, I felt my license was at risk if I were to stay there.
I am a new nurse and was advised not to include this job on my resume since I stayed for only four days. I was told by the principal if I changed my mind I was welcome back so I dont think there was any bad feelings because I left. Should I include this on my resume for future applications? Should I bring this up at the beginning of the interview, end or not at all?
Quit After Four Days
Dear Donna replies:
Dear Quit After Four Days,
You do not need to include this brief episode on your resume nor should you mention it on an interview at all. It hardly constitutes employment.
