Bristal Assisted Living will open its ninth community overall and first in New Jersey this October in Woodcliff Lake.
The Bristal at Woodcliff Lake, which was constructed at a cost of $40 million and is situated on 4.2 acres, joins eight assisted living communities on Long Island and in Westchester County.
“Our commitment is to promote choice, individuality, and privacy by providing abundant common areas, a variety of apartment layouts, and a varied and stimulating activity program along with personal care assistance,” Senior Vice President of Operations Maryellen McKeon said in a news release.
The Bristal also houses a special neighborhood called Reflections, a comprehensive memory enhancement program that specializes in dealing with older adults facing early to mid-stage Alzheimers and related cognitive disorders. •
