Kimberly Hollowell, RN, BSN, a nurse at Bayhealth Kent General in Dover, Del., recently received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
According to a news release, Hollowells patients on the 1A med/surg unit praised her excellent bedside manner in a nomination letter.
“Kim completely changed my attitude in a positive way,” one nominator wrote in the letter. “She even brought my appetite back.”
