A report that has been gaining momentum since its 2010 release will be the topic of discussion at an event hosted by the Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes.
In recognizing the call to action presented by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation/IOM Future of Nursing report, CALNOC will present committee Chairwoman Donna Shalala and Vice Chairwoman Linda Burnes Bolton, RN, DrPH, FAAN, at its First CALNOC Research Fund Dinner and Fundraiser. Shalala is president of University of Miami, and Burnes Bolton is vice president and CNO at Cedars-Sinai Health Systems and CALNOC co-investigator.
We are very honored [they] will join us to launch the CALNOC Research Fund to share their insights and observations of the IOM FoN report at this unprecedented event, said Nancy Donaldson, RN, DNSc, FAAN, chairwoman of the Board of Directors for CALNOC. This event will allow participants to hear firsthand the journey of this far-reaching report and its impact on healthcare for decades to come.
