Case Management Program Wins Prestigious ‘Platinum’ Award

Mullahy & Associates, LLC, a leading national consulting, educational and training organization, received the prestigious “Case in Point Platinum Award” for its “Best in Class Case Management Program.” The award recognizes the most successful and innovative case management programs working to improve healthcare.

President Catherine M. Mullahy, RN, BS, CRRN, CCM, one of the healthcare industry’s foremost leaders in advancing case management practices for enhanced healthcare, along with Vice President Jeanne Boling, MSN, CRRN, CDMS, CCM, also an industry leader and former executive director of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), received the award at the 2nd Annual Case In Point Platinum Awards Luncheon.

The awards luncheon took place May 10 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., and included the presentation of 31 Platinum Awards and more than 100 honorable mention awards. On hand to see Mullahy & Associates and the other winners were representatives from hospitals, health systems, managed care organizations, provider organizations and other leading institutions.

Mullahy and Boling are former practitioners with extensive clinical and healthcare business experience. The “Best in Class Case Management” and others have been used widely by the VA Medical Center, Indian Health Services and other hospitals and managed care organizations, and have been sponsored by leading media organizations including Gannett.

In addition to the “Best in Class Case Management Program,” the firm’s curriculum includes programs on “The Business of Case Management: Building Your Own Company,” “Best in Class Hospital Case Management” and “Direct to Consumer Case Management,” among many other offerings. Mullahy is also the author of “The Case Manager’s Handbook,” now in its fourth edition and a major component in some of these programs.
