Nurse leaders must create opportunities to be at the table whenever/wherever healthcare discussions take place. We must be innovators, visionaries, collaborators, mentors and risk-takers, and we must inspire and support practice and make leadership a shared responsibility.
As president-elect, Whitneys top priority will be to oversee the implementation of MONEs new three-year strategic plan. As president, I will look forward to furthering the great work of my predecessors, the entire board, and membership to assist in achieving the key strategic priorities for the organization, he said in a news release.
