I have a question of whether I’m doing the right thing going back to school after all these years. I finally have finished with my kids’ education, and now I want to finish my dream of becoming a nurse. I’m 41 years old, and I’ve been in the medical field since I was 16. What do you think?
Dear Donna replies:
At the age of 41, you are quite young by current life expectancy standards. Besides, age is a state of mind (www.Nurse.com/Cardillo/StateofMind).
And if becoming a nurse is your “dream,” then why are we even talking about this? Just do it, Yvette. Your future and the world awaits you. Read “Go Back to School and Change Your Life” at www.Nurse.com/Cardillo/BacktoSchool.
Onward and upward!
