New Oakland Eastmont Town Center Set to Help Frail Seniors

A variety of services for East Bay’s frail seniors soon will be available at Oakland’s Eastmont Town Center. The Center for Elders’ Independence will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12 to celebrate its latest Program of All-Inclusive Care, dubbed the Josie Barrow Center. The center will be in the mall’s lower level and serve up to 150 seniors, according to a news release. The Josie Barrow Center includes a fully staffed medical and dental clinic. For information, call 510-433-1150 or visit www.cei.elders.org.

This new dental suite will be part of the PACE clinic.
